Weeks before the end of the first semester teachers from the English, Music and Art departments, announced the call for video auditions from students interested in participating in the 2024 English Song Festival. There was enthusiastic response from students across elementary, middle, and high school, resulting in a difficult decision making process for this year’s selection committee. Chosen for the musical and English skills and abilities exhibited in their videos, the English, Music, and Art departments are proud to announce the talent selected to participate in this year’s English Song Festival. The 2024 English Song Festival will be held on Wednesday, August 28th. This year’s decorative theme will be «70s Disco Vibes» in celebration of the school’s 70th Anniversary. All members of the Osorno College community and their families are invited to attend and support this year’s participants, and to enjoy additional entertainment provided by other talented students from Osorno College.
The winner of the 2024 English Song Festival, chosen from among the seven high school participants, will represent Osorno College in the Interschool English Song Festival hosted by Osorno College on Thursday, August 29th. The selected winner will perform alongside at least ten other students from ten different schools from across the south of Chile in hopes of earning the title of winner of the 2024 Interschool English Song Festival.
